GMail usage up 30% in 1 year

That's pretty slow by Google standards, but it means it still stays a little bit exclsuive for us "in the know".

GMail has a much lower market share than the competition:

Yahoo 4.5%
Hotmail 2% (down from 2.5% because it is so crappy!)
GMail 0.34%

GMail users tend to be younger and more affluent...
